BIOGRAPHY
Nour is a lawyer who is passionate about empowering entrepreneurs, uplifting small businesses, and turning ideas into reality. She uses her knowledge in corporate law, commercial law, intellectual property law, and privacy law to support companies in various industries and to help businesses reach new heights. With a background in journalism, Nour has a unique combination of legal expertise and communication strategies, which allows her to articulate legal concepts with clarity and pay close attention to details without forgetting the bigger picture.
Nour has been involved with the start-up space for several years and continuously provides support to incubators across the city. In 2019, she worked at the Legal Innovation Zone where she used her skills in marketing to help legal-tech start-ups expand their reach. In 2023, she kick-started the Law Society of Ontario’s “Access to Innovation” program and supported legal-tech start-ups through a regulatory sandbox. In 2024, she participated in the start-up legal clinic at the DMZ where she provided legal guidance to emerging technology companies.
Outside of her legal work, Nour is a self-taught visual artist and an on-going Creative Tenant at HXOUSE. She enjoys connecting with entrepreneurs in creative industries and she aims to use her legal skills to help artists make a breakthrough.
