BIOGRAPHY
Ahsan is a multi-faceted lawyer with expertise in corporate and commercial matters and intellectual property law. He has spent most of his career as in-house counsel to many companies, ranging from multinationals to emerging technology startups. During his time in the legal department of Walmart Canada, he negotiated complex commercial contracts and managed the company’s global intellectual property portfolio. He also has experience in providing strategic advice to early stage growth companies in maturing their corporate governance and risk management structures. Ahsan is known to take a practical and purposeful approach to providing legal advice by putting a heavy emphasis on legal solutions that take into account the realities of the business.
Apart from his law practice, Ahsan is the Co-Founder of Tunnin (pronounced “tune-in”), a platform that him and his team developed during the pandemic to provide fitness trainers with an additional revenue stream with no overhead costs.
